MHI Aerospace Vietnam Co to open aircraft component factory

Kevin R Heise, the Asia Pacific region-sales director of Boeing firm announced that Marine Hydraulics International Aerospace Vietnam Co Ltd (MHIVA), a 100% foreign invested subsidiary will inaugurate the first aircraft component producing factory in Hanoi's Thang Long industrial zone.

The factory is estimated to cost US$7 million.

Yesterday the representative of Boeing firm met Vietnam's deputy prime minister Hoang Trung Hai and confirmed Boeing's support to Vietnam's airline sector.
